Absolutely not. Rosa D'Oro honey is "raw," meaning it does not undergo any thermal pasteurization treatment that would destroy its natural enzymes. It is pure Calabrian honey, just as the bees created it.

For oil, we recommend a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct light. Honey should be kept at room temperature; if it crystallizes, it is a sign of absolute purity.

We always guarantee the latest olive oil campaign available (currently 2025/2026) to ensure you the maximum concentration of polyphenols and the fresh taste typical of freshly pressed oil.

Crystallization is the best guarantee certificate of pure, unpasteurized honey. Industrial honeys always remain liquid because they are heat-treated, losing nutritional properties. If you prefer it liquid, gently warm the jar in a bain-marie without exceeding 40°C.
